Strange, strange fanlistings.
May 2, 2008
As most of you probably don’t know, I’m in a couple of silly fanlistings, like the ones for bacon, Pocky, and the ambiguous Japanese drink Calpis. That was thanks to a jpop-fueled fanlist-joining rampage I went on a few months ago. (Don’t ask.)
But if you think those three are weird, trust me–there are much, much weirder. Here are some of the more baffling ones that I found on TheFanlistings.org. Yes, these really exist. But don’t ask me why.
TIP! Try insert items from the list below into “You know what? I’m a really big fan of_________!” :D
blenders – 17 members
to-do-lists – 54 members
wishes – 183 members
elevators – 45 members
paperclips – 18 members
zoos, and visiting them – 112 members
the relationship between Robert Dudley 1st Earl of Leicester and Queen Elizabeth I – 27 members
nuns (stats not displayed)
double eyelids - 5 members
medical/dental insurance billers – 4 members
forgiveness – 47 members
And, of course, somebody just had to think this was a witty idea:
being a fan – 10 members
*Member count was as of the time I visited the page.

Heya!
My WordPress dashboard led me here. (: Great thing it is!
Anyways I enjoyed your post! I think you missed out this one I consider weird as well: Joining Fanlistings. I don”t have the URL at hand though.
I’m the owner of the Double Eyelids fanlisting. For Westerners to have double eyelids, it’s not really a big deal since it’s real common, but most Asians, it is. =/ I’m one of the lucky few to be blessed with visible ones. Double Eyelids surgery is one of the top plastic surgeries being done in Asia, with Korea taking the leads in this field of course…hahaha.
So yups, just wanted to put in my two cents.
